Lisa (ChuYin) Chang and her husband, Peter (Kun Kuei) Chang, shared a deep love for reading, which inspired them to open their first store in Taiwan in 1974. Every morning at 6:00 AM, Lisa would open the shop's doors, warmly welcoming students as they stopped by to purchase pens, books, art supplies, and magazines. The store quickly became a vibrant hub for locals to start their day.
Family History
began its journey as an e-commerce store dedicated to bringing the magic of manga to fans everywhere.
On December 09, 2024, we've expanded into a unique, shared space at Chen's Noodle House in Tempe, where locals can explore and purchase their favorite titles in person. Our mission is to give beloved manga books a second life while fostering connections between readers and the rich, immersive storytelling that makes manga so special.
