Day One: Plan or NO Plan?
Hello,
Welcome to Anime-Inks Blog. My name is Kevin Chang and I’m the founder of Anime-Ink LLC.
I will try my best to write a blog at least once a month… maybe twice if you’re lucky but the objective is to write, and plan out the future with Anime-Ink LLC. I do enjoy creating things but for me this is a different level of experience required to have a good grand opening. The most important thing is to have a flagship product you can sell. With a memorable logo, and a professional e-commerce webpage. I believe creating mascots will be easier than managing inventory, storage, and distribution.
I believe the way to generate demand for manga books is word of mouth, and posting on bulletin boards.
I started Anime-Ink LLC on August 26, 2024, exactly one month from today, and so far there’s no sale. I wouldn’t say that I had NO PLAN? I just had some PLANED. Like the company name for example, out of all of the options I thought of, I really liked Anime-Ink… like for example “Welcome to Anime-Ink!” or “Where’d you get that book? Oh I got it from Anime-Ink.” I really really really hope the name is catchy enough to be a competitor in this highly competitive market. Publishers with hit titles often times offer a monthly subscription to access the manga on their website. Anime-Ink LLC marketing strategies is going to be local, towards fans and collectors, gamers, couples, newlyweds.
This holiday season the objective is to generate a sale. Which I think will come from “OfferUp” app because it reaches a wider local audience. The plan is to sell whole collections to collectors, and purchase books for less than $3.00 to make a profit of at least $6-$9 per book. Why pay retail price? Anime-Ink Customers will receive some type of free toy/bookmark/accessory with their orders.
Anime-Ink. Anime-Ink. Anime-Ink. Anime-Ink. Anime-Ink. Anime-Ink. Anime-Ink. Anime-Ink. Anime-Ink. Anime-Ink. Anime-Ink. Anime-Ink. Anime-Ink. Anime-Ink.
At the same time, I think If I had a strong social network presence, I should already have a sale by the end of September. Any place to get business recognition will be difficult.
Anime-Ink.
Have you heard about the new manga reseller company? It was posted on the Arizona Corporate Commission website.
08/26/2024 was the day Anime-Ink LLC was established as an LLC.
To be honest I am just hoping that the name stands out like Barnes & Noble, Viz LLC, half price books, etc… I can only hope that Anime-Ink can survive. Supposedly there have been attempts before to open up a manga shops but majority of them fail. I need to figure out what makes anime-ink different? Because my competitors have an endless supply of hit titles. Whereas my inventory comes from individuals who are trying to get rid of their collection.
Sincerely,
- Kevin Chang
