Chens Noodle House x Anime-Ink

Wow guys we finally have a store. I was able to convince Richard, Echo, and Robert to let me set up a display case and sell manga at Chens Noodle House.
When I got the clearance to sell, I quickly claimed a spot and began searching for a unique and tasteful display case. I shopped online, and everything was very expensive or not attractive. I felt like all of the display cases that are available I could make myself at a cheaper price. I mocked up a couple drawings using plexiglass, but after crunching all of the numbers it would have been too expensive and time consuming to fabricate everything myself. So, I decided to hit up GoodWill, and I was able to find the perfect shell with pre-drill holes for shelves, a mirror, shelf pegs, and rails to close the display case. All that needed to be done was dust it off and give it a new paint job.

The entire construction probably took like a week because of work. I think the most stressful part was trying to move the display case to Chens Noodle House. Most of the shelves, and windows on the display case are glass. When we were moving the display case from Goodwill -> Mesa. The loader dropped the case onto the bed of my truck and cracked one of the two mirrors in the display case. It was a huge bummer, but I got a huge discount and only paid $5 for the display case. What a steal. I know.

Fast forwarding to December 09, 2024, we now have a permanent location for locals, and fans to purchase in person!!!!! I am so excited because I know there are a lot of anime fans in Tempe, and I am happy to bring many popular titles to AZ. Earlier this week I was able to obtain Chainsaw man Volumes 1-11. Please check it out in store! I’ve also updated our website to reflect the pricing in store and reformatted the website design as well. Like I said, I am very excited for what’s coming next.
